Sustainability Mission

Contributing to Cornell's sustainability efforts through food recovery and waste reduction

As a volunteer with Food Recovery Network at Cornell, I contribute to sustainability efforts by helping recycle and compost leftover food from dining halls. This initiative addresses both food waste reduction and food insecurity on campus, making a tangible impact on Cornell's environmental footprint.

Through regular volunteer shifts, I've learned about sustainable food systems, waste management practices, and the importance of community involvement in environmental initiatives. This role has deepened my commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
